About Gen J

What if this next generation became so marked by a history-making move of God, that they were no longer called GEN Z or Alpha, but they were known as THE JESUS GENERATION, or GEN J…

That’s what God told us when we asked Him what to call this youth movement. With eyes of faith and burning hearts, a new generation of fiery youth marked by the love and power of Jesus is arising to spark a worldwide revolution.

For such a time as this, God is raising up radically obedient sons and daughters who know how to bring Heaven into their everyday lives. As they’re raised up to walk uncompromised, they’ll see signs, wonders, and miracles wherever they go.

Join us Wednesdays at 7PM and check out our IG page @genjmovement for the latest on all our gatherings and events! This is not the time to stand on the sidelines. Join us as we set California and the world ablaze!

About Jake & Joanna Haynes

Joanna is a native to California, and always dreamed of being a doctor and bringing healing to the world. After years of schooling, and over a year into medical school, she had a radical encounter with God that changed everything. After that, she started seeing God do radical miracles, healing, and saw salvation wherever she went! She moved to Texas for 3 years, attended bible school, started a ministry preaching on streets and online, then came back to California as God kept speaking to her about a massive revival that would sweep up the coast of California and across the U.S. and world.

Jake was over 3 years into college in Oklahoma when he radically met God through a Carry The Love event on his college campus. After that, God called him to leave Tulsa and head to California to join Circuit Riders in Huntington Beach. From there, he traveled across the U.S. going to college campuses spreading the Gospel and raising up revivalists. He then spent a year traveling the world with a few major ministries, preaching and leading worship. In 2020, God had him lay those things down and move to Redding to attend BSSM and enter into a season of radical rest, where he eventually met Joanna.

In 2023, Jake and Joanna both met at Bethel Church and got married months later in Redding, California. After getting married and ministering together in various nations, God told them to "move to San Diego, build, and raise up sons and daughters." They soon met Jerame and Miranda Nelson and the rest was history!
